About Julie:
Julie was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In 1980 at the age of 20, she was recruited to Long Beach, CA as a registered nurse. For the next 10 years she was a oncology nurse specialist. In 1990 she confounded Life Care Solutions, a Home Heath care agency specializing in intravenous therapy for the care of cancer and AIDS patients. Julie sold the business in 1995 to pursue a career in Real Estate.

Julie is married to local builder/ broker Mark Picking. Her daughter, Tara, 22, is a graduate of the University of Redlands and is also a licensed realtor. She is an assistant to a successful realtor in Newport Beach. Her son Luke, 15, is a sophmore at Palm Desert High School. An honor student, Luke has aspirations to attend an Ivy League college!

Julie began her real estate career in 1995 in Indian Wells, California, where, as a full time resident, she has first hand knowledge of local scools, charities and family events throughout the valley. Her nursing degree and patient care experience helped develope her compassion for caring. She continues that caring and personalized service today with her clients. Julie's ability to understand her client's goals and provide guidance towards achieving these goals is Julie's trademark skill. Julie's connections and natural people skills proved an important asset for her success in real estate.
