About Julie:
Julie was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In 1980 at the age of 20, she was recruited to Long Beach, CA as a registered nurse. For the next 10 years she was a oncology nurse specialist. In 1990 she confounded Life Care Solutions, a Home Heath care agency specializing in intravenous therapy for the care of cancer and AIDS patients. Julie sold the business in 1995 to pursue a career in Real Estate.

Julie is married to local builder/ broker Mark Picking. Her daughter, Tara 22, is a Art History/ graphic design major and graduate of the University of Redlands. Tara, also a licensed realtor networks with Julie on real estate contacts out of her company's Newport Beach office. He son Luke, 14, is an honor student attending Palm Desert High School with a dream to major in theater.

Her nursing and patient care experience developed her compassion for caring. She continues that caring and personalized service today with her real estate clients.
